Hi
VR exec standard headlights, high and low beams are pathetic. I am considering getting Nava Blue plus 90 or Plus 100 bulbs (same wattage).
Are these or some other brand of bulb significantly better to be worth the money?
Are the Plus 90 or Plus 100 that different from each other?
I could add driving and perhaps fog lights, have done a few over the years but the only way I can see to mount driving lights is on a bar mounted to the number plate on the bumper. My experience with such mounting on another car is it's not very firm so the lights shake around a lot which is not nice to drive with.
Has anyone done such a mounting, how did it go?
Alternate mountings?
Regards,
Ken
You could always fit a nudge bar and fit the driving lights to that (thats what my dad done to his VR Statesman), but it depends if you like that look or not.

I haven't heard many good things about the Narva blues.
Some people say Phillips Crystal or Diamond vision globes are good upgrades over factory globes, but I'm not fully sure on that. I have some sort of aftermarket phillips globes in my VR (Previous owner put them in), they do alright, would do better if I upgrade my battery earth as I have an aftermarket sound system.
Are your lights fogged out? that affects the perfomance heaps!
Tried changing to 100w H3's.. They made an amazing difference for me.
and old bulbs do fade after a while so that could be a problem.. so if they are old.. It's prob worth upgrading to the lights you suggested..
I have blue tinted H4's with the Narva 100w H3s and I find them as good as my brothers 'VX' or even my Mums 'BF XR6'
Even thought my low beam is crap I prefer the blue tint, but if I had normal H4's I would have good lights.
philips +100% > narva 100%
Philips are way better quality. And if you want to be able to see better, stay well away from anything besides +100%'s.
