after searching for a while for a ute that had my two main requirements being a v8 and 3 seater i found one and snapped it up......got me a ute.......maybe a little to eager but im happy with what i got and the price i paid even if its got a few problems
after finding a couple of issues (vs dash trouble)from picking up the ute and finding soloutions through the help of members it seems you fix one issue and another pops up its head
so im hoping starting this thread will help me to repair a few dodgey items on the beast and im sure i will have a few questions along the way

having no speedo and after changing the cluster . tracing the wires and changing speedo sensor we located the problem to be the clip in the gearbox that holds the gear in place to the shaft had come away so the back of the gearbox has to be removed in order to fix wich i hope i can do this weekend , as seen here What's going on in your speedos? - GMH-Torana

todays problem i found when about to come home from work is when i put my foot on the brake the revs jumped up then came down slowly and at the same time im getting a rush of air from the fire wall where the brake pedal rod goes through the firewall into the booster leading to leaving it up at work with no brakes.the question is......is this a common easy fix or a little more involved

is there a diference between the vs 6cyl and 8cyl break booster? and will they bolt up the same.?.
