Hey guys, I'm fairly new when it comes to working on cars... been more so around bikes growing up and only got my first car early this year...
I'm looking to possibly paint my stock steel rims soon and was wondering how I would go about/what I would need to jack the car up and be able to take all four wheels off and leave it jacked up over the space of a weekend to work on the rims...
Any recommended jack stands? Ones to stay away from etc... and the best process in being able to get the car up, and keep it up while I work on the rims. Is it safe to leave the car fully up on jack stands?
Any other ways of keeping the car up?
Thanks in advance,

supercheap have a set of 2tonne jack stands which i have a set and they are awesome. adjustable and never had a problem.
keeping the rear of your car up, yours is an acclaim so you have an IRS rear, i would jack up from your diff so you can leave your stand points free, or use the boot jack and it might leave enough room to whack your stands under.
Heres the jacking points for you dude :P
And heres a how to do it too, with pics and that etc
How to Jack up your car and put it on Safety Stands

Bit to read there, just kinda skimmed the thread.. will have a proper read on the weekend, but it'll be sweet to use that method to have the car fully lifted?
