wagon stalling when switching fuels.

hey fellas ive got a 96 vs wagon dual fuel and when i switch between fuels it stalls. It starts straight back up again though. Is it stalling because its clearing one fuel out? Has this happened to anyone else and is there a fix?

i've always been told you should not change between gas and petrol on the fly, and that you should shut down the motor first.

Mine does it by design. Starts on petrol, then once warm it kicks over to LPG witbout issue - although it appears to be using a little petrol simultaneously - not sure if by design or not.

what type of system is fitted would be a good help ?
