1997 VS II V8 ute cruise control beeps twice when set?
I've just got my 1997 VS II V8 ute on the road. It was damaged in the front when I brought it so I've never driven it on the road and now I have noticed that the cruise control beeps twice when set but it works fine apart from the set light doesn't light up, any ideas?

Is it a standard Holden cruise control unit or an after-market one? Alternatively, two chimes is the over speed warning signal in the speed alert module. Perhaps someone has wired them together.

It's a factory cruise control and the over speed still works separately so it's not that.
