I'd just like to know if someone out there can give me a quick rundown of the different Lexcen models and their equivalent to the Commodore models.
As I understand the Newport is the top model, is it equivalent to the Berlina, Calais or somewhere in between?
Beyond that I know there's a CSI, I beleive that it was toward the bottom of the totem pole and the VXI, which was the mid range model-equivelent to the Acclaim? Are there any other models that I missed, or is that about it for the range?
Also if the Newport is about the same as a Calais, does that mean that I could use a Newport instead of a Calais for an interior swap and not have anybody know the difference?
Yer you've pretty much got it right, as for the interior swap I think the Newport had full leather and the Calais has leather with velour inserts.
