    Default Engine Issues...

Hi guys. Can someone tell me if a leaking injector would cause a rough idle? Plus in the last month or so the L/100 has risen from 11.9 to 12.7-8 (just going off the dash readout) The rough idle just started this afternoon and as I was inspecting the engine I noticed one of the injectors was wet with fuel. I can upload a video of how it sounds if needed and someone can tell me how. Cheers.

first thing i would be doing is changing the o-rings on all the injectors.

get your l/km from filling up and resetting your trip, more accurate

That injector would most likely need replacing. It would cause excessive fuel in and may even allow fuel in at the wrong time.
I would actually try replacing the O rings, injector tops and filters first. See if it improves then.

It is funny.. When you had inlet manifold off I suggested you replace those o-rings

I also replaced the filters and and pintle caps. Changeing the filters on my injectors solved my problems.

Good memory! Yes you did, I should have listened.

I'll prob just replace the injector, as in 9 years I've never serviced them or anything. I assume the best thing to do would be to just replace them all at the same time?

    Cheers for the advice guys.
