I did a bit of search for this but couldn't seem to find the exact answer (maybe I just suck at using the search function lol).
Does anyone know what off-the-shelf headers will fit a VS with an LS1? I was originally wanting to use Pacemaker Tri-Y's, but I've heard differing things now about whether they'll actually fit. Pacemaker also has a new thing specifically for LS1 in VL-VS, but that's pretty pricey to get my hands on here in NZ.
yea man i would be going pacemaker all the rest are shit. Go tuff mounts with pacemaker headers they are around $800-$900 over here but the rest are over a grand and dont even fit hakfthe time.

There is stuff all room done the drivers side with this conversion.
From memory you will need a custom bent header for that bank.
Pacemaker have made a set to suit this conversion they will fit using there engine mounts and pretty sure using tuff mounts also. Starter relocation also required.
Add pacemaker on facebook and messgae them. The dude you will talk to is really helpfull. Pretty sure the VL-VS extractors are 1 3/4 " tri y 2" secondarys and 2 1/2" outlets. about $900 but
There is 1 7/8 primary and 3" outlet versions available through other places but i dont think they fit without dramas and they are like $1300. If you want big ones like that you would be best off getting custom ones made.
Pacemaker are making vb-vk ls1 conversion ones atm. Should be just about done.

I can do Hurricanes for the LS1 in a VS, but the shipping to NZ would be expensive.
