Vs wiring help

Can anyone tell me what the yellow and black plug is at the brake booster and what it controls on a vs v6? Im putting the ecotec in my vr and need to rewire it to suit the black vr plug in the other pic.

couple things, the yellow and black plugs look like all the wiring matches up so it plugs into each other.. where abouts on the loom is it? looks like battery area? or has it been stretched there just for the photo?

Yeh i just pulled the wiring there for a easyer clearer pic.. its normally part of the bcm harness and it plugs into the engine harness up next to the brake booster with another silver plug beside it.. i noticed that the 2 silver plugs on the vr and vs are exact same so they will plug straight in. also the vs plug (yelllow and black) has a extra pink wire (6wires total) and the vr one has 5 but they are all the same colour coded. what im trying to figure out is what is the extra pink wire on the yellow and black plug so i know what to wire it up to when i do the conversion because im gonna cut the wire and wire the other plug up so they plug together if that makes any sense lol

I think it's the split brake loss warning wiring - the master cylinder has 2 pistons - one supplies the front brakes and the other the rear - if you lose the front brakes the master cylinder will still operate the rear brakes and vice-versa. If this happens a plunger inside the master cylinder operates and activates a warning light on the dash telling you that you have a serious brake problem. That's a pretty crap description but better than none.
