Default Replacing Leeds on VS ute

    Hi all,
I'm need to change my leeds on VS 3.8 auto , Just having a look ,do need to remove the alternator to replace the leeds as there is no way i can pull them thru or even remove the conduit . It seem like a very tight gap. Such a simple job may take hours!!! Has anyone else had this issue? Any help will be much appreciated

    Thanks
    Darker

It's been a long time since I replaced the leads on a V6 bit I'm pretty sure I had to remove, or at least loosen the alternator to run the leads the correct way.

You can do it without removing the alternator but it is much easier to do with it out of the way.

    Remove serpentine belt
Remove lower 13mm bolt from alternator
Remove 10mm bolt from support on top of alternator (may also need to loosen it the other end)
Loosen top 13mm bolt on alternator and just swing it on its axis
