I'd readjust the long rod that goes from under the selector to the transmission...loosen the bolt (in P) and wiggle about and re-tighten.....this presumes that when you put it all together the neutral safety switch and reverse switch ended up in a slightly different position than before. I was lucky with mine - bolted together like a bought one.
