Wagon tail gate removal

Hey guys
i need to get the tail gate off my vr wagon,
no dramas about getting the pins off etc ,
ive popped the rubber that go through to the body holding the wiring harness
how do i get to the connectors to unplug the tail gate , i cant see the plugs there
do i need to take off the inside trim, and i need to disconnect the rear squirter as well

have u got a workshop manual coz that will tell; u how, ill see if i can find mine and let u know

ok i found it in my manual,
1: disconnect the battery so it says,
2: open tail gate and support it wit something long enough to protect u and the paint
3:remove trim wit flat screw driver carefully, disconnect all wiring
4: remove washer hose carefully, and remove wen done so
5: remove all wiring completely from tail gate
6: remove lift supports (gas struts)
7: use someone else to help u hol;d the tail gate wen removing pins,
8: refit tail gate by the opposit of this
