vs statesman starts then dies straight way.

hey guy just need some advice or even a clue on way my vs stateman will start for a second, cut off then only crank. any susgestions would be great

Sounds like a theft deterrent system problem. Does your theft deterrent indicator LED turn off when you unlock the doors using your remote key or does it keep flashing? Try using your spare remote key - maybe the battery in your remote is operating below the required voltage. Also make sure that the contacts on your remote key are making connecting with the ring around the ignition key entry point. You may have to bend the metal parts of the ring to get a good contact.
