knocking nosie
hey people off the forums i have just changed the oil and oil filter yesterday and since i have done that there is a knocking nosie at idle and whiles iam driving everythink is a on proply iam just confuessed plz help

Does your oil light come on at idle at all? Or did you have trouble starting your car after the service? What your most likely hearing is a "Lifter Noise"....
This can be a result of bad oil pressure which is common with the 304 oil pumps shitting themselves, but id start with the obvious which is most likely going to be the wrong grade of oil.
You will need a thicker grade of oil, and if you couldn't be arsed to drain the new stuff out, then just get some Luccas* oil thinking additive and or "lifter free".

nah its not an engine knock.. sounds like something with steering like bushes or something banging together when i turn
You may have broken a swaybar link and the timing is coincidental.
It's a common weakness.

My machanic told me anyway so iam going to change that
And see if it fix's the proplem

Yeah, no offense, but Im willing to bet my life you wont be able to replace the sump.. Its a motor out job, so dont think you can just do it one lazy arfternoon
You could always remove the K frame, but thats harder in my opinion...
Yeah it's a big job to pull the hole motor out but
My mates got the tools and the engine hoist to do
It lol so I'll see what I can do on satday see what happens
I'll be in rich tho.
