cluster question

hey guys want to take out my cluster to fix the fuel gauge doesnt go up sometimes and i want to know if i have to disconnect the battary or something dont want to stuff anything up.

Just dont turn the Ign on without the cluster in if you have air bags.

Ans it should be OK to just pull the cluster and do some soldering on the voltage regulator.

Pay very very careful attention to the first line.. do NOT turn the key while the cluster is disconnected if you have airbags. Probably safer to disconnect the battery just to make sure you don't forget.
