    Default Overheating?

    Hey all,

    i need some serious help. Car started to overheated red light and noise came on and everythin.. popped the bonnet let it cool down and then i poped off the lid on the radiater and all my coolant and water started spewin out.. i tried refillin it and it kept spewin... im thinking head gasket or maybe temp sensor... any ideas?

    i was told it might be an airlock... somethin about runnin the heater for 10 mins to fix it or some shit?

    Won't just develop an airlock, there will be a cause to the problem. Maybe water pump or thermostat. Could even be a seized pulley that stopped the belt from spinning.

    Let it cool down a bit and refill with water and then start the car and see what happens.

    Cut the bottom out of one of those 600ml drink bottles with the big mouth openings and stick the opening into the radiator to enable you to over fill the system as such will expell any air pockets.
