94 VR trans

hi im wondering what i need to do. my auto vr takes a while to kick into gear once upto 3000rpm it goes into 2nd gear an then for the following gears kicks in at 1.5 _ 2000rpm, does it just need a service or do i need to get it recond?? thanks in advance

try the service, if that doesnt work then, gett a recond gear box

Before you go spending big Dollars, check that what you describe is not normal as mine changes at about the same revs - Commodores change different to smaller 4 cyl cars. Good Luck.
