Default VS V8 5L No spark after wash

    Hey guys,

The other night ( Sunday night ) I gave my engine bay a good wash at the car wash. did all the normal things like rage in the intake, didnt spray the coil / dizzy or leads directly and all that jazz.

However now my car wont start, I have checked to see if there is spark and there is nothing. I have taken the lead off the coil to the dizzy to see if I get spark and nothing.

my question is, is there a way to test the Ignition, The Coil and the Dizzy? (dont want to replace all three to find out my problem is else)

The engine turns over as well, like cranks but get zero fire.
    oh and no codes either.

you need to see if you have spark then switching/triggering to the coil from the dizzy and/or injection pulse with a led testlight or noid light.

My dad had this problem, turns out he fried the electronic ignition module. Could be your problem.
He did it washing out his engine bay too.

Yes the modules are bloody pricy, the only thing I can suggest is consulting your local dealer or Auto Elec

    Hey guys,

Just an update. I replaced the ignition module, $150 bucks later it wasn't it.
next was the Coil, 30min drive to sprints auto for a $40 coil only to be given the one with the injector type plug. drive back to be given the right one... for $75 bucks.

BUT SHE RUNS!! now onto the other problems!
