Sounds like maybe your grounding through a wire that's controlling the central locking. Try reg rounding heady to bare metal. Failing that, run a new constant power wire to it.

Tripple check all your fuses! i had the same problem in my vr and vs, when i installed the headunit, some of the wires touched and it blew some fuses, tripple check the fuses with a torch, doesn't hurt to have another look... that's all i can think of unless you've somehow shorted it...

As excale said, check with multimeter, iff all good, ether a wire a wire has broken in the loom or plug, or a relay may has cooked.

Check fuses and then relay, swap out a known working on, say headlights, and test. If nothing yet, pull off a door trim and test to see if you have power at the actuator

you could of fried the body control module... you should always disconnect yuor battery when doin electrical work it would of saved you all this trouble.... if all fuses and relays are working then you've cooked your BCM which means big $$$
    If in doubt......FLOOR IT!!!
