vr commodore hits 2000 rpm and dies of power
hey guys
the vr has trouble starting when it starts its fine and drive it around and it hits around 2000rpm about 60km to 80km and dies of power and then put the foot down and no balls anymore in power goes really slow and sluggish
im changing the fuel flirter today and seeing how it goes but i would like other peoples apinions on this

Sounds fuel related.
Things I would be looking at:
Filters
Fuel pump (not sure if the VS has one or many)
Injectors
In that order.

shes been sitting there for 12 months while i been doing her up for her roady now she on the road she dont wanna run lol
cheers for the list i just changed the fuel filter going to take her for a run and if not it be the pump
second question you say injecters how can i clean them?

when it dies is it ruff? or just doesn't want to rev past 2000?
could be ur pressure regulator??

How is the exhaust...tailpipe not blocked....blocked cat can cause this.

i changed the pump and the filter and put injector cleaner thru it and ran it for half hour only because it was late and im on my learners and it went fine im taking it for another drive tonight and ill see how it goes
but it went alright last night so im presuming its fixed im not to sure
How old is the fuel? If it has been sitting for a long time, the fuel might be "off". If you haven't already, put a fresh tank of premium through it and see if that sorts it out.
