power window upgrade

Hi guys,

I've just been given a set of power window regs, switches and some wiring. I am hoping to upgrade my vr ute and have been reading up a little, in another post it mentioned the contacts in the fuse box for #5. I have them and with a fuse in it, is this for something else in utes or has some one simple put a fuse in the spot? I have the wiring from the centre switches to a plug under the stereo will there be a plug under mine to plug this into?

there should be a plug under the dash for the switches but u will need to upgrade your bcm and change your door looms. do you have power mirrors? or central locking?

yes both.

what do you mean about the door looms, not sure of what that is! I have the plug for the regs but they have been cut from the other car, so I will need to do some wiring.

There was a relay mounted under the steering rack, is this the one for the power windows as I have a loose plug in that area that will fit a relay.
