what are the best brand of spark plugs?
Imports should be melted down cause they're shit.
I use NGK plugs, not the irridium ones they're a rip off. Work great, recommended.
I figure if the car is running great but you just want to change the plugs then screw an old one out and replace with exactly the same brand and heat range.
Back in the 70's, K Mart, Target plus Repco etc used to sell reconditioned sparkplugs for about 1/3 the cost of new. They were sandblasted clean and regapped....thats all. They sold heaps - but back then you'd have to clean and regap your plugs every 20000km or so as your carby was probably misadjusted and running rich etc....of course petrol was 11c a litre....
mate im using nipo denso plugs from toyota(lexen) and they run hea[ps better than my old ngk ones...very responsive...they r like 3.50 each from toyota spare parts place...ask for lexen ones for your year commo
