Default L67 boost solenoid removal

I found a realy good thread on l67 torque but for some reason the forum won't work any more. Also done a search. I'm looking at removing the boost solenoid on my vs l67 but can't remember the way to do it. Any pics or info would be greatly appreciated. I'm also using the Vs ecotec loom so it dosent have the plug for the boost solenoid. Also wich plug am I ment to block but I can use for a boost gauge?

Cheers guys

Hey mate,

l67torque should be back online sometime soon. You would have to get the how to from that forum I think.

Here is a pic of where to get the vacuum for the Boost Gauge:

Just remove that black blanking plug and hook up the hose onto that.

Hope that helped in some way haha.

No worries thanks mate hope it comes but up soon I'm half way threw my l67 conversion in my manual Vs ute and that site is very useful. I'm usuing the ecotec loom so there is no plug for the boost solenoid so will this make stop the solenoid from doing it's job?

very easy mod.

unplug boost bypass solenoid.
remove hose from boost tree to solenoid.
remove hose from solenoid to actuator.
recommended to cover open line on actuator with gauze etc to stop foreign debris entering actuator.

you should then just be left with line from blower inlet to actuator.

L67Torque.com • Login - there is the link to the how to.
site has been up before new years. just remember that you have to be logged in to view the forums.
