VP to VS memcal swap

Hey all, just a quick one, will a memcal from a VP V8 Calais HSV (has the knock sensor), work in a VS SS? Thanks.

depends on a if the vs ss is manual or auto. vn - vp v6 or v8 didnt have the automatic tuned into the memcal. vr vs v6 or v8 ran their automatic through the ecu ie memcal. As such no manual in either range was controled from the ecu.

If it's auto then no it won't work.
