vr spoiler

hey guys, was taking the spoiler off my vr calais today, but wasnt able to find a way of disconnecting the wire from the spoiler. Would it be safe to cut the wire then re solder it if i wanted it back on?

its only 2 wires, just cover the ends with heatshrink/electrical tape SEPARATE! not as one
if you cut it
