    Default VS commodore alarm problems!!!!!!!

I have a VS Berlina with a dodgy alarm. It randomly goes off at stupid o'clock sometimes it can go for days without going off but other times twice a night.

I know I can lock it with the key and thats what I have been doing. But sometimes I launch the boat early in the morning a mate locks the car and I leave the ramp in the boat I look back and the indicators are flashing WHoops I forgot to telll you about my alarm just waiting before I get a dog S#*t on my bonnet.

So I have looked everywhere for a solution for this and have changed all door switches and even the bonnet one. Whatelse could be causing this drama?

I installed a neon light to my fuse relay to be funny I locked my mate in the car while I went shopping when I came out it was going off and he told me all he did was switch the light on if there is something in the fuse relay comes on it could set off the alarm that's for a stock install if the alarm has been upgraded you have to also check motion sensors

The factory alarm in the VN calais monitored the battery voltage, and as soon as a door, boot or bonnet light came on from one of them being opened, the battery voltage drops slightly which would then trigger the alarm. They might still be the same and monitor the battery voltage by the sounds of whats written in the above post. Whats the cars battery like? How old is it?

Yeah the battery is fairly new and I have not noticed anything on or activated when I come out to turn the bloody thing off so its got me stuffed. All I want to do is lock the car with the remote.

It's not necessarily the age of your battery it could be accesories on stand by a radio needs constant power to keep time and radio stations stored you also have to factor anything else like that in get a multi meter check the battery level before you go to bed then check it again first thing in the morning
