    Default VS Gauge Cluster Swap

Hi im sure this has been asked before but i searched and didnt come up with anything that answered my question.

i have a 97 VS V6 Ute that currently has the level 1 gauges in it which only has speedo, fuel, and temp, the guages work fine but the green circuitry on the back has a couple small rips in it causing gauges to cut out. i have found that level 1 gauges seem to be hard to find and firgured while im already spending the money to replace the cluster why not upgrade. As my level 1 didnt have a tacho and the level 2/3 clusters do and i already know they all use the same plugs, mounts and circuits . My question is if i put the level 2/3 in will the tacho work on the new cluster?

Sorry for the long explanation but if anyone has done this before any help would be appreciated

    Cheers

If you fit a VS L2 cluster - all should work if the cluster is in good nic

I've upgraded about 10 ute L1 clusters fitting a tacho to them - all work fine.
