Hi, does anyone know if you can install a digi dash from a vs or above into a 94 vr v6 auto? just curious and if i can ill get one instead of fiddling with the lil cog in my original dash

needs to be from a VR V6 for a straight swap over.

but you will still need the forth plug, and splice it into the existing wiring.

does the vr vs have a digital dash? and whats the 4th plug for?

no digital dash for the VR/VS - I assume by digital you are referring to something like what the VK Calais had?

Level 3 dash is available which gives you a trip computer, fuel used, average k's per 100k's etc etc (you will need the trip computer seperately to the cluster). Do a search - there's heaps on it

there is a level 3 cluster for the VS(unsure if VR had one) that had LCD displays on it. Requires a patch lead to be made up for the LCDs to work. talk to '88GreenVN' he helped me with this topic a few days ago

Search "tripin" it will show what needs to be done to splice in a "4th" plug to the L3 cluster.

The L3 gauges will work without a problem (same wires) but the "digital" part needs the 4th plug and a switch control to be wired in (patchloom)

ok. jus one more question. does the vr ecu or whatever comp it is, does it actually record the odo? and will it show all the info im looking for? like overspeed on the dash, fuel usage, trip comp, that kinda thing?
