Hey guys,
Ive recently started to upgrade my car's interior lights to LED's
I bought some BA9S LEDs in multiple colours to change out whenever i feel like it,
problem is they are not working, i contacted the seller and he replied back with installing a LED load resistor...
After testing the LEDs to see what polarity the are running, i found that the LEDs are running the opposite polarity to what i need..
Eg: the normal halogen 12v 5w BA9S globes have no polarity, can be ran either negative or positive,
But the ford/Holden Map light sockets are running Base Negative and tube/housing running Positive,
The LED Globes i bought are running, Base positive and Tube/housing Negative.
I was wondering if anyone knows how to reverse the polarity or has done a modification to fix this problem.
Cheers
Jake
I too am keen for an answer. I have the same issue
MY WEAPON: http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...ng-10-psi.html
NEED 3.9 or 3.7 DIFF GEARS, PM ME IF YOU KNOW OF ANY
i have the same issue aswell they're the last piece to my led conversion i done.
Looks like no one can help us,
i was looking at these SMD 5 way leds,
Apparently the chip inbuilt in them sensors the polarity??
Idk im not to sure.
commodore are built with a positive earth. where the wires join to the globe holder swap the positive and neg over and it will work
