Default cutting pink wire and re-earthing o2 sensors vs commodore?

hi what would happen if i was to cut the pink wire and cut and redo the eath to a different part of the block on a vs commodore v6 with 4 wire o2 sensors? ive re earthed the ecu earth but was reading allot about the pink wire and re earthing them at the sensor

like would it stuff things up? where they earth at the moment the earthing points dont look to good and the connection looks like it could do with an upgrade/replacement

    cheers

How To: Fix the VS V6 4 Wire O2 sensor earth problem – Known Holden Problem

try this link not sure if it worked but it on the main page in "commodore how to" i was just reading it and seems a better way of doing it rather than cutting wires.

    will be doing it myself.

once u cut the pink wire there will be no heater circuit..
dont know if u've read throw my how-to as you've meantioned u re-rearthed the ecu earth; is that
    a) the earth for the ecu only or
    b) the earth at the ecu for the o2 heater curuit?

My opinion only, but why bother to cut the wire etc if you were having no problems before.

yeh i redid the earth at the ecu as mentioned ine your post ephect

reason i ask is holden used a non heated o2 sensor in the vn vp etc then vs they used a heated sensor then in vt vx vy and so on they used a non heated sensor again as they had issures with the heated ones, was just thinking of cutting it for good measures and at the same time redo the earths as maybe it might help? , but then again im just looking for things to experiment with lol

    cheers
