Hey fellow commodore owners i was hoping u could identify a problem im having with vs v6 auto and to fix it. When im driving at aprox 60 to 70km and then slow to take a corner, as i try n exit the corner it feels like tranny is changing back in 2nd but instead is holding third or forth. When i do accelrate from the corner the tranny seems to slip then goes into 2nd then shifts as normal when i drive off
To me its seems lift a shift solinoid or something like that. No errors have come and the car runs perfect and is always serviced and maintained (by myself) if it is a shit solinoid is it a diy job i could do? And how much would a solinoid actually cost? Open to any interpretations
Cheers everyone
If it was a solenoid gone bad it should show up in an error check. I'd also check the fluid level when hot. Maybe also check the TPS.
