    Default Please help!!!!!!

    I'll start at the beginning...........
Had to replace trans in my vs clubby and when I'd done this the car had a bad miss which eventually lead to it having no spark at all.
I've replaced ignition module, coil, leads and now has spark cos its backfiring but the bastard still wont start, could it possibly be timing?

Did you double-check the plugs leads are all correctly on the distributer cap and the plugs?

Yeah mate, and originally error codes were reding 42- ignition bypass circuit prob, and I found the clip that holds those three wire connections was f##cked, so I threw away that painful connecter and reconnected them with terminal connections. No error codes coming up now but still won't start.

Check the bearing in the distributor first, see if the shaft moves. This can cause missing and back firing too. But if you have replaced leads, module and the coil, the only thing left in the ignition circuit is the hall effect sensor.

Going back to the beginning, the miss only started after you replaced the transmission? Check all the wiring and make sure you haven't pinched or broken a wire somewhere. Or even left the earth off the back of the bell housing at the top.
