Ok all done, car is now running fine so far.
Looks like the one that was in it is a no name CAS as there was no id numbers or anything on it....

it is the black plastic cover that is between the engine and auto - you remove this to get access to the flexplate torque converter
Car will need to be on ramps or axle stands though

And it looks like the rear main seal gone
How hard is the rear seal to replace or should I take it somewere to have it done?
might as well have the sunp gasket done at the same time...

LOL I've just finished pulling out and installing my gearbox, only to find out I only needed to tighten up the torque converter bolts... Only well live and learn.
