    Default Missing lug nut.

I have just noticed I have a missing lug nut on my passenger front wheel. My car has been back on the road for just over a year now after I returned from living overseas during which time my brother drove it a bit and it sat in the garage for 6 months. During this time someone has managed to strip the christ out of the stud and lose a nut. I have obviously been driving like this for a year now as I have had no reason to take off the centre cap. My question is can the missing nut have caused any damage to my rim and can it have anything to do with my steering pulling to the left?

Maybe do a bit more investigation into why it has a stripped thread and a missing nut which could indicate a hard hit to the curb on the passenger side. You'd need to replace the stud and nut (easy) and then
check the front tyres to see if there is any unusual wear (which there probably will be!) and then get a wheel alignment. How big is your brother?

If it was not you I would be speaking to your brother about the stripped stud and missing nut and no missing 1 nut wont make your car pull to the left if you havent rotated your tyres in a year they are prob just worn and thats why it is starting to pull to the left.

Yeah def going to hit him up about the stripped thread. I know he steered into a ditch while reversing, thats all I've been told so that could be why it pulls to the left. Prob does need an alignment and rotation. Doesn't seem to be wearing anymore than usual on the left.
Hako: He is quite big, bout 6' and 100 or so kg's... off to the wreckers tomo to replace the stud and nut.
