    Default Service Vr commodre help

Hey guys, its my first post here, so please be nice =P

Iv been trying to find on the net what needs to be done for a service to my Vr, its got around 250ks..

I also have the demister on always, as the button seems to be stuck on, is there a way for me to fix this/turn it off?

Its my first commodore, so i thought use the forums and google to help me out..

    Much appreciated

with the demister, is it your front or rear your talking about? if its your rear one the all you need to do is take the dash face off and disconnect the harness from the switch. this can be done by removing the 2 phillips head screws which are located where the instruments are. they are on the top so you will need to drop your steering wheel down to access them. then use a flat head screwsriver to pry it off. be careful as there are clips the whole way around. to remove it fully you will need to unplug the wiring harness from the headlight switch on the far fight hand side. as for the service, it depends what the previous owner has done with it. have a look in the log book and see when the last major service was done.

Thanks for all the info guys..

Might just stick with what i know, oil, air, spark plugs etc etc..

Also is it worth going all out and buying a k&n panel filter, or are normal standard ones work just as well?
