i have had my auto rebuilt completly with corvette servos stage 2 shift kit 2650 stally and everything else in side replaced clutches bearings seals the lot,it spun in my vr v6 statesman full on into second and chirped into third as the cars fairly modified N/A and had 150kg of subs and box in the boot and still spun them changing gears with a full tank the subs and a full car load and now for sum reason it dosent spin or even churp into second,i havent done any stand stills or burn outs except from when it changes gears and now with the subs out and even 1/4 tank fuel it wont churp nothing, mite i add new valve body was fitted as well in rebuild but from day 1 it flew but cruzing on freeway at 100kmh on 1500-2000rpm the engine light comes on and stays in i think third but if i went 110kmh it was fine it was like this from day 1 after i got it back could this have contributed to why it wont churp or nothing and why does engine light come on and stay in that gear, the shop that did all the work couldnt fix it after 15times going bak and they want to charge me to try fix once again the problem they in hind sight created? i am currently at a loss as it cost 3500 to do this to my car (make it not operate properly)but love the car and insist on solving her problems
Do a error code check on the engine light - my guess is that the error code will indicate a component slipping and overheating. My limited knowledge of auto trans tells me that if this is correct, then it may be due to one or more of the clutches slipping and/or the servo not locking the clutches enough....this causes slippage which means heat and more slippage and burnt and degraded fluid which also means more slip. Maybe a service including a full flush may improve things. Good Luck.
