Default 20's on a second gen?

    Hey guys,
I'm a long time supporter of the second gen commodores. I've had 19 inch wheels on them with minimal clearance. My question, is it possible to run 20 inch wheels with standard struts? And is there a maximum width wheel/tire that you can run?
    Cheers.

Yes it is possible to 20s on standard suspension the max with is a 245 which give you bout 3 to 5mm gap
To run them you need to up grade your brakes to something like a drilled or a slotted rotor many to keep the rims from buckling due to heat
You can lower it but you got to be careful you don't lower it to much
    Hope this helps

Forgot to mention it has king springs already. Super low front and ultra low rears.

Offset, tyre size and guard flaring or rolling play a part in this. Food for thought. Im running 17" with 235 tyres and i can not figure my figures between the tyre and strut (where the coil sits).
