Speedo not working

Hey fellas just fitted a vn 5.0 litre 5 speed into my vs ute that was a v6 5speed every thing went
reasonably smooth had a few hick ups tho but got them sorted now the only thing I'm having trouble
With is getting the speedo working I am still running the vs v6 dash is this going to be a problem as the other dash from the donor vehicle was stuffed the speedo works every now and then it jumps up for a
couple seconds then just cuts out and just keeps doing this every now and then but usually just sits at
zero any help fellas would be muchly appreciated thanks

Was it doing it before the swap? Those clusters can be a bit iffy with age. Perfect excuse to swap out for a much nicer level 3 cluster :P
