Hey every one me again, proberly starting to become a pain in the bum but every one is so helpfulI was just wondering what I need to convert my vs v6 to a v8? I know I need the engine, gearbox and wiring loom but what else do I need?
Tailahaft, Engine Mounts, Radiator, PCM etc... IF you search based on your title there will be plenty of threads with all the answers you need. Just a question, Have you considered putting an L67 in it? Easier and cheaper IMO
Definately worth a think.....
MY WEAPON: http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...ng-10-psi.html
NEED 3.9 or 3.7 DIFF GEARS, PM ME IF YOU KNOW OF ANY
Easiest and probably cheapest option would be to sell your VS V6 and buy a VR / VS V8. That way you dont have the the headache of crap going wrong. And I dont know if you would need an engineers cert for it as well. Thats another cost. Not worth it
Just my thoughts.
INNAWE (in awe)
Noun 1. awe - an overwhelming feeling of wonder or admiration; "he stared over the edge with a feeling of awe"
2. awe - a feeling of profound respect for someone or something; "the fear of God"; "the Chinese reverence for the dead"; "the French treat food with gentle reverence"; "his respect for the law bordered on veneration"
Yea there is no way I would ever sell my vs I'm obsessed with it and where is the fun in just buying a v8 anyways?
And what's the l67?
"what do I need for a v8 conversion?"
A V8
serious though, it's better to buy a factory v8 .. less headaches![]()
Yea I've decided to just go buy a v8 suggestions on a good v8? Nothing over vs
If VS is as new as you want, then VS it is.
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?
