I have a VS Accliam with IRS and ABS which has done 198000km's. I had all the brake pads changed and hand brake adjusted. The hand brake appeared to be over adjusted by the mechanic and was dragging slightly. What the problem was was that it intermittently developed a shudder even at low speed. The whole car would shake. Even with car in neutral and rolling. When I stopped and started again driving it disappeared. Can this be caused by an over tight handbrake adjustment affecting the ABS? I had the hand brake readjusted and could now not bring this fault back up. I thought it may have been the centre bearing on the tailshaft but it appears too coincidental that it appearred the day after I had the brakes done. Has anyone else experienced something similar or can offer any ideas. The shaking was quiet excessive at even a low speed at 30k's. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks
So..... The issue is now fixed after the adjustment?
