    Default VR transmission stuffed???

hi guys, i recently got a VR 5.0 litre and its all good except the transmission could be stuffed, for a start it has
no reverse and when im driving i gotta give it a boot full to get it into second and im pretty sure ive only got 2nd and 3rd once its out of first. ive checked the error codes and 24(vehicle speed sensor fault) came up. ive also read something about being in "limp-home" mode. the car has been in a very minor front end bingle but only radiator support damage.
    any suggestions?

is vehicle speed sensor fault related to perhaps the abs speed sensors? before i put my car to manual , i had no reverse, and it would also flare out when changing gears

you should take it to an auto electrician who can check it in detail on the computer any other faults with the auto

fix the speed sensor, the gear changes are all pcm controlled, if it thinks it's doing 0 km/h then it's not going to change speeds

does the speedo work? have you tried resetting the ecu/pcm (disconnect the negative battery terminal for 30 second to a minute then reattach)?
