hi
wondering if a vt/vx cruise control indicator will work on a vs and if a vt-vz cruise control actuator will work in a vs.
if someone was to bolt the system in and wire it up what is the average people pay for a workshop or auto electrician to have a quick look and check its been wired properly.
also would anyone have a wiring diagram for installing cruise control into a vs low bcm that doesnt already have it
IIRC the stalk changed at VY with the addition of a cancel button?
Do you mean the actuator that operates the throttle? (VZ alloytech is drive by wire)
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?
I wouldn't bother - you can pick up all you need for a VS for about $50 and no hassles. Just a quick going over by an auto elec is costed at $80 per hour minimum.

is a vt/vx1 indicator stick the same as a vs
would anyone have a wiring diagram for installing cruise control into a vs low bcm that doesnt already have it
VR / VS cruise control - are they different ?..this is the thread on it dealer fitted kit uses same circuit..it just has a couple of extra plugs to make installing the wiring easier. and another thread with a simplier diagram

I'm certain VT/VX ones should work in a VS, they are exactly the same. They changed the stalk in the VX Series 2 to the newer stalk.
I was quoted $280 for an aftermarket unit that works with the VR stalk fully installed...
