VR 5.0L problem

Need help asap. Have just put 5.0L back in my VR SS. I am able to turn the headlights on however there is no dash lights, no cranking no nothing except headlights. I have checked relays, fuses, earths all of that seems fine. Any suggestions appreciated muchly. Plz help me.

sounds stupid, but have you connected all terminals to the battery? i have struck this before, 1 little pissy arse wire falls down behind the battery, and then there is no power anywere. id be checking that first, follow all wiring to battery, also the main fuse, id check it too.
