Hi all,
I have had a VS V6 ecotec fitted to my 1957 FE Holden ute.
I want to fit a water temp guage so that I can keep an eye on engine temp.
This requires fitting of a temp sensor onto the engine, but I can't find where I can bolt this in.
The motor appears to have only one position which is already taken up by the ECU sensor.
Any clues on what I can do?
Would I be able to remove the bleed screw fitting in the top of the thermostat housing and fit it here?
Would it work if i did or would it cause problems?
Hoping someone out there can give me some sound advice.
cheers Townee.
Near where temp sensor is for the ECU there is also a sensor for the temp gauge,.
Attachment 71200
Thanks James, does this mean i need to tap into one of the sets of wiring coming out of the back of this to hook the temp gauge into?
