Default Upgrading to climate control,lv3 cluster in VS ute

hey, i want to get a whole climate control/heater unit with what looks like a full loom with it (only going by pictures online) out of a VR berlina. And im also looking to upgrade to lv3 cluster/trip at the same time into my ute..
so what im wondering is,i read ill need a BCM to suit the climate.c unit but will i need the HI or LUX bcm,if theres any difference between them?
And lastly after that, can my lv3 cluster just plug straight in as ive already got a lv3 dash loom and ill also have the berlina loom/bcm to suit?..meaning i wont have to splice the 4th and trip plug into my lv2 dash loom(like it says in tripin') for it to work properly.
    ..
Hope this all made sense, appreciated if anyone can help clear this up for me cheers.

If you have and Executive dash patchloom in the car you halfway there. You will need to fit a climate heater box.

The climate loom can be grafted into your car - I have done it to my 88 VN. There is a few issues to deal with - the fan moto spins in reverse and a relay has to be re wired. But it can be done and there is install notes on it on here. As for BCM not sure if you need this to run the climate A/C.

nah sorry i dont have a patchloom in the car yet, just standard looms in there atm as far as i know..
i meant that ive bought a lv3 loom ready to chuck in for the cluster upgrade. is that what you were referring to?

ohk cheers ill try find the thread you're talking about, should help me out.. ive read a few people have done the conversion and from that ive gathered theres two ways
.1.rewire/splice climate.c into existing loom like you said.
.2.or can swap the body loom out with a high series that came factory climate control but need to swap bcm too?

I would do this if it were me, and use the higher spec BCM.
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?
