Default Rear demister - but not the fuse

    Hey guys,

Ive got a problem at the moment with my rear demister, it wont kick on at all, the button doesnt light up when engaged, fuse is ok, connections on the screen all look ok, im going to give it a full trace this weekend and see if i can find a problem, but just wondering is there any common things that cause the whole circuit not to work not related to the fuses that i should be looking for? Thanks in advance.

Could well be the switch in the dash. I had the same problem a few years ago and a new switch fixed it.

Cheers for all the info guys, I've checked the relay, i swapped it with another one that was the same, no change, def not just the LED in the switch cause the demister itself wasnt working a nice little frosty morn we just had. Ill check the switch first, will just pop it out and check if i can get a connection if i hardware the cables together.

    Cheers all. Muchly appreciated.

Hey All, just an update for those that gave me some advice, what the issue turned out to be was when i removed the switch there were two contact LED's that are quarter turn lock in, one had come loose and was just flopping about. Tightened it back up, was all good again. Easiest fix on a car i've ever had!!
