    Default my vs

    hey this my vs commyy im getting off a mate new trans in it but need starter motor (getting one next pay) and interior need to by put back in, the lil body kit it has need to be fixed back on but other then that im paying $1000 for it what you guys think?

    yeah this has no rego and only one plate so have to get them and yeah i was thinking of a white one but they wanted 2500 for it and had a f**ked diff

    thats good deal mate.. 1000 for vr vs is good... plenty of cheap parts for them around.. the engines are pretty tough also..

    just give it a thorough check over before you pay for it, check oil color, water level, trans fluid color, make sure it starts ok and runs well. if your on a quiet street just take it up and down to make sure all the gears work cos its a bitch to buy a car and then slowly all these problems start to emerge

    it's not just a vs commy,it's an s-pac i want the rear boot lip those skirts on it fetch good money.

    I paid $1000 for mine which had rego and did not need parts before I drove it away,

    if i need any parts i can get them off my mate he got a spare vn and a spare vs at his and he taking the dash and front end off his vn and putting a vs one on looks weird but good at the same time lol

    Bargain!!! Cant go wrong with a VS thats for sure Least you dont have to worry about road worthy bs like we do lol.

    went over to do abit of work to the car but couldn't do much cause i didn't know what to do lol so if you guys know where i can look on how to replace a starter motor for a vs spack and how to replace the power window thing to make the window go up and down in the drives door would be good also notice the front right wheel is sorted like toed in the wheel sitting in the right spot it just the top is leaning more in to the car the the other side whats that mean and how would i replace it

    yeah i will when i can but for some reason i have a feeling i gotta replace something there my dad think it could be a bent strut or something but i dont know next time i go there ill take pics

    If the top of the wheel is closer to the strut compared to the other side then I would assume the toe needs to be adjusted.
    You can also check for play in the bearings or ball joint by jacking the car up and hold the top and bottom of the wheel and do push and pull movements and can also check for play in other components by doing the same with left and right movements

    Buy yourself a gregorys manual for it. Handy as hell and being a VS most of it is pretty easy to learn to do yourself You can get them off ebay on cd for pretty cheap since the books retail for a good $50+

    Looks OK in the pics. Have fun learning about Commodores. Guaranteed you'll learn heaps fixing her up.
    So ....why was it missing the interior? Was it out for a reason?

    they was going to put a calais interior in it and give it to the son chris but he wanted a vn in stead and the replaced the trans to so that explain why the center conslo whas lose pluse the hand brake cable broke while it was up so the had to fix that but other then hat i dont know whey most the interior was out lol

    nah dont think so cause there no water damage to anything hmm oh also i was cleaning the dash and on the passanger side where the air bag is i kinda got the plastic bit off and now it all bent on the edges got it back on but the edge are up and i was thinking could i just glue it back down or do i have to go get a new one
