    Question electrical

    hi all,

Got issue (obviously). Brake light works without headlight.. Turn headlight on and its a permanent brake light.
Was thinking corrosion in the bayonet fitting?? anyone else had the same issues??

    Thanks in advance
    Brian

Possibly. Sounds more like a wire is earthed out or crossed with another... Inspect the bulbs first

yeah i have put new bulbs in already, seem to recall a bit of corrosion in the bayonette fittings.. but was not what i would call
severe. My old hilux ones were nearly welded with rust and still worked when i replaced them...
