hey guys i just finished converting my vs s pac to a T5 manual, iv had the ECU memcal retuned and had all the auto codes and errors removed, but some times ill pull up to a set of lights and the car will drop fairly low in revs and stall, i have wired the speedo, from the speed sensor straight to the harness that goes to the cluster so the ECU reads that theres no speed signal, the fella that did the memcal for me told me that the ECU needs to recieve a signal from the speed sensor to stop this stalling issue
has anybody fixed this issue?? how could i fix it??
any Information will be greatly appreciated
Thankx guys n galz

Fake a VSS signal? Thats all i can suggest.
VR and VS error codes:
VS V8 DTC/Error codes comprehensive list.
VS V6 DTC/Error codes comprehensive list.
How would i fake a signal?

A retuned memcal is no good u need the specific ecu for manual to auto because there is different setting on the ecu itself replace the ecu with the manual one and all your problems will disappear
manual ecu and loom.... or, see a tuner who is good with tweaking the IAC steps.
I converted my VS to manual, still runs auto ecu and loom. Used to stall like yours, but after my tuner had a play its sweet as now.
Hit me up with some reputation points if i've helped you out! (Star in the bottom left!) Cheers!

as above. the auto ECU's generally do not have the components to read the T5 VSS signal.
so you can find a genuine VS T5 ECU, or I believe you can get converted auto ECU's off eBay. Never tried the converted ones, but if all the components have been fitted, there shouldn't be any problems.
A temp measure that most people do is to adjust the idle screw in a bit to keep the revs up.
