VE Steel rims 225/60R16 for VS with IRS?
Just wondering if 16 x 7 VE rims with 225/60R16 tyres would fit a VS Calais with IRS? Would the tyre be too big because the Series 2 VS Calais uses 215 that are 16inch? Obviously I would need to get them machined. Would it put out my speedo or odometre in any way? Also, when getting them machined to fit, I've read that the structural integrity may be compromised? Is that true? Thanks.

Why would you? you cant get 16" tires cheaply as they arent really a common size, and all you are achieving is getting slightly larger stockies

Someone offered me a set hence why I considered this option. They won't fit with 225/60 tyres anyway.
